Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how BEaprende (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a U.S.-based learning management system (“LMS”), handles payments, credits, and refunds for course purchases. By purchasing any courses or related content through our website (the “Services”), you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below, as well as our broader Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please refrain from using or purchasing content through the Services.


I. Pricing

Prices for our courses (“content”) are determined according to a variety of factors, including instructor input, promotional events, and overall market conditions. From time to time, we may run promotions or sales that lower the cost of certain content for a specified duration. The price applicable at checkout is the price of record for your purchase. While we may offer different promotional prices to new or existing users, these promotions are generally time-sensitive and cannot be applied retroactively once your purchase is complete.

If you live in a country that requires the addition of sales, use, value-added, or other similar taxes, we are responsible for collecting and remitting those taxes to the appropriate government authorities. Depending on your location, the displayed course price may include the applicable taxes or such taxes may be added at checkout.


II. Payments

When you make a purchase through BEaprende, you agree to use a valid payment method. We accept various payment methods, such as credit cards, debit cards, and potentially other third-party payment solutions depending on your region. We work with trusted payment service providers to keep your payment information secure, and we may update your saved payment methods using details provided by these service providers. Our Privacy Policy further explains how your payment data is handled and protected.

If, for any reason, your payment method is declined or becomes invalid after you have already obtained access to the content, you agree to pay any outstanding fees within thirty (30) days of being notified by us. We reserve the right to disable or revoke access to any content for which we have not received proper payment.


III. Refunds

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If the content you have purchased does not meet your expectations, you may request a refund within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date. We will typically issue refunds using the original payment method if possible. If, for any reason, we cannot refund through your original payment method, we may offer you a store credit to apply toward future course purchases. Store credits do not have a cash value and may have an expiration date, in accordance with applicable laws.

No refund is due to you if you request it after the thirty (30) day refund window has elapsed. However, we reserve the right to grant refunds beyond the thirty (30) day limit in extraordinary circumstances, such as suspected or confirmed account fraud. If the course you previously purchased is later disabled or removed from the platform due to legal or policy reasons, you may also be eligible for a refund beyond the initial thirty (30) day window.

To request a refund, please contact our support team through the methods specified on our website. We will evaluate each refund request in accordance with this Refund Policy. If we believe you are abusing the refund policy, for example, by requesting refunds for multiple courses after consuming a substantial portion of the material, we reserve the right to deny your request, restrict your future eligibility for refunds, ban your account, and/or limit your use of our Services.


IV. Gift and Promotional Codes

From time to time, BEaprende or our partners may offer promotional codes or gift codes to users, which may be redeemed for course credits or specific content at a discounted price. These codes are subject to the terms and conditions that accompany them, and they may expire if not used within a specified timeframe. Gift or promotional codes do not have a cash value and, unless otherwise required by law, are not eligible for a cash refund.

If you have multiple promotional or gift credits, we may determine which credit to apply to your purchase at our discretion. Certain codes or credits may only be valid for specific courses or require redemption directly through our website.


V. Abuse of This Policy

If we determine, at our sole discretion, that you are abusing this Refund Policy, for instance, by consistently requesting refunds for content you have already substantially consumed, we reserve the right to take actions that may include denying further refunds, blocking refunds for specific courses, or disabling your BEaprende account entirely. If your account is banned or your access to content is revoked due to a violation of our Terms of Use or other policies, you will not be eligible for a refund.


VI. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may modify this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or operational constraints. If we make significant revisions, we will notify users by posting an update on our website or by sending a communication to the email address on file, if available. Your continued use of our Services after the revised policy becomes effective indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
